It's been a long time...
It has been a long time since I have posted a template. So here is one.
I originally made this box to fit in Christmas tags I have made. I have made them to give away as Christmas presents. Sometimes it is nice to give presents to your nice neighbour or people you know and like but you don't really know them that well. i think a small handmade gift is ideal for these people.
My next one I have made to fill with lollies. A nice gift box hanging around incase some occassion pops up ie friend gets a promotion etc. I never pre-fill with lollies before the time - cos I will admit it they would be eaten by me :-). I still think the red box is missing something maybe a stiched border.
If you do make up this template would love to see your creations.
Happy Crafting.

How Cool
I can now officially say "...my range Box It Up".
My very first item, Voucher Folders has been released today over at RWLaserCuts.
I have designed this as a card and gift voucher all in one. No more feeling like you have not gone to any effort when giving money or a voucher as a gift. Now you can give something that is handmade yet gives the chance for the recipient to pick their own present.
The folders have been precut and scored, all you need to do is to decorate.
The Voucher card comes in packs of 4, with four different colour ranges to choose from; Christmas, Pink/Purple, Gr/Brown & Blue.
Here are a couple that I have had a go at decorating.
Hope you like them. If you are interested in purchasing them contact your local craft store.

I'm so happy and so very tired.
Today at the Casey Kidz Klub Crop Day we raised a whopping $1,300 .
We are rapt. The day went really well, we even had a request by a couple of people to run two of these a year (too tired to even contemplate that at this moment).
We had really great prizes to raffle, some things that included cuttlebug kids machine and dies, a personal die cutter, a fax/scanner/photocopier machine and tons of other stuff.
We also did a silent auction which netted us a few hundred dollars.I am glad to say it is all over...well until next year anyway.
Thanks for all of those who donated items for the day. You guys are mega stars.

Hello Everyone,
Not much blogging been going on here lately.
I have been really busy doing designs for RWLasercuts. Soon you will be able to buy my box designs in a craft shop near you. All you need to do is assemble and decorate. Most of my items are made from quality 2.8mm thk chipboard. The range is going to be called 'Box It Up'. I am very excited. Watch this space for a release date.

Stationary Folder
I have made this stationary folder for my friend Denise as a house warming gift. I have used the Kaiser Kraft Blush range of PP's.
I have been wanting to have a go at making my own paper flowers. I heard somewhere that you can use your heart punch to make the petals. I gave it a go and quite pleased with how they turned out. I also used a leaf punch using green cardstock. I am not sure what I am going to do with them now, but I am sure I will think of something.
Yeah it's Friday. Not much planned for this weekend yet. Hope your weekend is filled with lots of love, laughter and creating.

Soul Searching India
A very good friend of mine Natasha has a blog that I think a couple of you may like. It has nothing to do with craft but rather is a brilliant written & visual description of her time in India.
Natasha's blog shows an insight to India which most of us will never see even if we were tourists.
Natasha was originally from India and migrated to Australia with her family when she was about 16 years old. I met Natasha in 1990 when we were both working on a building site as Draftswomen and have been close friends since. Natasha moved to America in approx 1997.
Sorry if I sound like I am waffling. It is just Natasha has had a very complicated life and I am so very proud of how she has overcome many obsticles and achieved amazing things in her life. Anyway if you are interested here is the link to her blog Soul Searching India.

Cool Site
Tonight I have been scanning the web for how to make paper flowers. I came across this really cool site called INSTRUCTABLES. It is awesome. You can learn anything from making Playdough to making your own Taser Glove (a must for every safety consence girl:-) ).

Yesterday we took the kids to our local ANZAC parade in Berwick. The kids found it all a bit boring. But hopefully one day they will appreciate what it all means.
The weather here is pretty dismal. Days like these just make you want to jump under the doona and watch TV all day. But having two small children they won't let me do that. I think we might take the kids down to the local playcentre today. Better them trashing the playcentre rather than our house :-)

Last night I made these two boxes for Mothers Day. I am going to use them as cards and write a message underneath the lid, then place choccies in them (see 2 blog entries ago for box dimensions). The purple box I have used Stampin Up products to produce. The green box is K&Co paper and bazzill cardstock. Hope you like.

Here is one of the first boxes I ever made. Often when I go back to original things I have made from when I first started off I cringe at how bad they are, but this one I like. Pity the same can not be said about my first couple of albums filled of tragic scrapbook LO's - :-)

Congratulations
Back to school today for Zach. It is a relief because by the second week of school holidays Zach & Luke had, had enough of each other and were fighting all the time. Zach was very keen this morning to go to school.
Zach's teacher recently got engaged so I made her this Congratulations Box. I am really happy with how it has turned out. On the underside of the lid Zach has drawn a picture of his teacher and her fiance holding hands and showing off the ring - drawing done in silver so has not come up very clearly in the photo.

Love Box.
Had a great time at the Melbourne Comedy Festival this weekend. We saw Greg Fleet and he was great. Very funny man. As the kids were staying at Nanny and Grandad's place we decided to make a night of it and stayed in the city at the Medina hotel. It was just so good to go out and have some kid free time. Will definately be doing the same next year.
Today I thought I would show you this Love Box that I previously made for the RWPC Blog. I gave this to my husband for Valentines Day. After he had eaten the chocolates it revealed a secret message. Hope you like. Below you will find the dimensions on how to make this. Just click on the image to enlarge. The Cardstock is Bazzill. Chippies are RW Laser Cuts. Can not remember who the P.P was from.

Hello All,
Looking forward to this weekend. We are going the Melbourne Comedy Festival. So looking forward to some good laughs.
Today I have made a Keepsake Holder. I am going to give it to my little friend Alannah to keep her little girl treasures in there. Reasonably quick and easy to make. I will post the dimensions and how to's in the next week or so.

Happy Easter
Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying the Easter break. I have scored myself another bout of tonsilitis (think this is my 4th episode in 2 months - getting a little bit over it). I have been relaxing to try and get over this latest bout.
I have been creating heaps but can not show you guys as yet. I am doing some box designs for a craft company so as yet not sure if I can show them. But soon I will make something that I can show to you all and give you the dimensions.
Hope all is well.
Happy Crafting.

I'm Back
I am feeling better and back in the crafting mood.
I was flipping through the Stampin Up catalogue today and came across a triangular shaped lollie holder thingy. I really liked the idea so have made my version of it. Yeah I know you are going to ask why I did a Christmas theme in April. Well the answer is simple...I only had Christmas themed celophane bags. Going to have to order me some plain ones I think:-). This project can easily be adapted to Easter bags etc.
Stuff I used.
Stampin Up Card Stock
SU Scallop Punch
Nestibilities - plain & scallop ovals
Paper Trey Ink Stamps
White Ribbon.
Celophane Bag
Choccies
Double Sided Tape.

I know I promised the dimensions for the voucher folder, but to be honest I can not find it. Chaos reigns in my scraproom at the moment. The new storage has been set up and looking good. But I just can not get motivated to sort out all my stuff and put it away in it's new home. Hope fully in the next couple of days I will sort and be able to post the dimensions.
Last week was my final blog entry at Remember When Paper Company. It was a great experience being a weekly blogger and would like to say thankyou to the Remember When girls for giving me a go. If you want the demensions and instructions on how to make the envelope and card holder above go to Remember When Paper Company.
I have something in the wind at moment for being a guest blogger for another company, so when I know more I will let you know.
At the moment I am working on a design for Chocolate Body Paint box. So keep your eyes peeled for that one.

Envelope Box
Today I made an envelope holder to store all my SU Envelopes. I got to have a play with my nestabilities - yippee. This is the first time I have made a box using Cardboard instead of folded cardstock. I was really happy how it turned out and keen to go down to my LCS to buy some more cardboard. I am adding dimensions and instructions incase you are interested in making this box. So here we go...
Stuff Needed
Cardboard (I used 1mm thk cardboard)
Printed Paper (Melissa Francis)
Stamp (Magnolia stamps)
Ink (SU)
Glue (pritt)
Card Stock (SU).

Step 1
Make out the above dimensions onto your cardboard and cut out. Click on image to get a larger view.

Step 2
Glue on cardstock of the inside of the box, then using a craft knife cut excess paper off. Do this to all of the cardboard pieces.
Step 3
Glue the wrong side of patterned paper to all the othersides of the cardboard, allowing ample space between each piece.
Step 4
Mark out then cut out the demensions of each space. It is important that the top side of each piece is cut out 1 cm from the cardboard edge.
Step 5
Glue both front flaps to the front of the box. Then back flaps to the back of the box.
Step 6
Cut 1 piece of patterned paper at 17cm long x 10.5 wide.
Cut another piece of patterned paper 17cm long x 14.5 wide.
Step 7
Glue these pieces to the front and back of box making sure that the paper overlaps the top of the box at exactly one centimeter.
Step 8
Fold and glue down the top lip on all sides.
Step 9
cut out another piece of cardboard measuring 16.8 cm x 7.8cm (this is allowing for 1mm thk cardboard - adjustsments will need to be made if your cardboard is a different thickness.)
Glue internal cardstock (the pink) on to bottom. Then trim oround the edge.
Step 10
Place cardboard into bottom then glue down the flaps.
Step 11
Stamp a picture and colour in. Then cut out an oval shape (this is where i got to use my nestibilities). Glue to front of box.
Hope you like.
